Invitation from Korean National Tourism Organization for Korea Tourism Roadshow, B2B Event at EQ Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

Today, we received an invitation from Korean National Tourism Organzation (KNTO) to attend Korea Tourism Roadshow, a B2B event in EQ Hotel which will be happening on 14 June 2024, 2,30pm - 9.30pm. We have registered for this event. One representative will go on behalf of Green Trekkers to get to know more travel agencies based in Korea and hope to bring in more unique tourism products for the market of Malaysia. Korea remains one of the top destinations for Malaysians traveling abroad, especially during the winter season , to enjoy the cold and snow. Because Malaysia being a hot and tropical country, this is something unique that we don't get to enjoy everyday here. And with the high influence of Hallyu culture (Korean entertainment through drama and music), Korea remains top popular destination. With the long semester break coming up in Jan 2025, travel agents like us are gearing up to sell Korea packages. The B2B session will carry on through to dinner with "Korean Nig

Setting up Google Adwords to attract Singaporean Market going to Sabah & Sarawak

Today, we set up another campaign under the Google Adwords targeting audiences in Singapore to enquire and purchase packages going to Mulu National Park , Sarawak. As Google adwords remain our top advertising channel, we are increasing our activity there. The recent drop in the value of Malaysian Ringgit attracted more inbound tourists visiting the country and spending here, as things are relatively cheaper here with the lower Ringgit. This has boosted the tourism sector and create more job opportunities. It is quite easy to do Google Adwords. With step by step guideline on how to set up. It is the skill of monitoring and ensuring each click brings us revenue that we much needed, that is the hard part. So far so good, hope this campaings gives us more business from our southern friend, Singapore. Welcome to Malaysia!

How does sports play a role in our staff work routine?

29 September 2018:  I would like to share something we practice at Green Trekkers.  As our products are specialized at outdoor adventure, our staff are required to train up their fitness in order to experience the climb or caving or trekking which will then improve their ability to provide precise consultation to our guests signing up the tour.  Every Wednesday we end our work 1 hour early and head over to the nearest park or stadium to have a minimum of 2 km jog or a game of badminton.  On weekends, we hike regularly at local peaks such at Bukit Wawasan, Bukit Gasing, Bukit Ah Pek and etc.  In the employment contract, it stipulated that all employees must complete at least 2 races a year, minimum 5km each. Ever since we started this initiative, staff are found to be more energetic at work, positive energy flow, less medical leave, better work place satisfaction and to the extend of natural weight loss through active lifestyle.  Sports has build character, discipline and stimulate rela

Post Matta Fair Affairs

Every good things must come to an end, we bid farewell to this edition of Matta Fair, brought home with us a bunch of new experiences that we will treasure in our lifetime career path of a travel consultant. Along the way, we met many new friends whom we never dreamt of meeting. There are so many unique destinations to explore and experience.  Till we meet again next year in March 2019 for another edition of Matta Fair.
